New to this & looking for laws in my area

We are new to this and I have been looking for what the laws are in my area. I live in an unincorporated part of Plainfield IL but I am part of Wheatland TWP. Does anyone know what they are? Any help would be great!!!

Your best bet for getting information would probably be calling the township office. If you google it hopefully you can find the a web page or phone number. I bet since the area is unincorporated that there won't be too many restrictions. Good luck, I hope you get chickens soon.

Thank you!! We are getting 5 Buff Orpingtons on March 21st!!! This will be our first tiem raising them and they say Orpingtons are good for your first time and they are good egg layers. Now I just need to get everything we need for when they are babies. My husband just got done building the coop!!
