IMG_0185.JPG Built this coop, now am questioning is it more cute than functional.
I am in a small town central Minnesota.
Every day is Saturday (retired). Probably old enough and smart enough to know better than get chickens when I also have 4 terriers. They were quite interested in them as chicks, more interested now they are BIRDS!

Hello Als,

So... Does it have any fencing around the bottom?
It is very pretty and I doubt it needs too many changes.

Just netting...(Not netting but hardware cloth)...Around the bottom.
I really hope this helps! Any way, I forgot to mention welcome to Backyard chickens!

It is nice to meet you! I also wish you the best of luck with your coop...
Great design, don't give up on it! Not too many renovations to do!

Yep fully fenced in run, coop is secure at night. They free range all day (maybe range to far for 3mo olds). In my yard on the wrong side of the run. Remember the dogs? No issues this time. They have free access to a slew, and 40acres of alfalfa. Why the yard! Not easy for them to get there either, fence, water, and a bridge to cross. Geez.

Your dogs sound like mischief!
Hm... Is there a way the dogs could get into the run?

If not, they should be fine...

I hope I am helpful!
Please let me know if I am not!
