    Hi All
I am new to this and this question has probably been asked a hundred times but....
I have put some fertile eggs under one of my broody hens, she sat on them for a day, then I made the mistake of putting an old silkie rooster that has been ousted from the big hen house in with her to dry off for the night, and when I came to check on henny penny in the morning she was off the eggs and the eggs were cold. I removed the rooster and she has sat on the eggs since then (now up to day 22), one of the eggs has broken, no chick, the others are still intact under her. Are they likely to hatch? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You never know. The fact they got cold may only delay the hatch by a few days. Give it some time and see what happens.
