Hi there, not gloating here as i know all too well what winter is like in the Northern hemishpere, but some of you asked what the temperatures have been, so here goes,

At the moment 10:40am 22oC in the shade, yesterday when the thermomiter was in direct sun with no breeze it in, it registered 41oC, but that is without windchill blah blah blah, the average this past week has ben between 25oC - 30o C ambiant temp, burn time is about 10 mins due to the high UV in New Zealand, skin cancer is a major issue here, so not all fun in the sun, infact government ads tell you ot to go out in the sun, cover up at all times,

i hope this hasn't made anyone feel worst for the winter blues, the way i keep my chin up is to think, if winters here then it means summer is on it way not going away, as mine is, day by day the days are getting a little shorter now.

wrap up keep warm, cuddle your loved ones more, save on the power.
