New Zoning Codes Threaten Chicken Removal

I live in Indianapolis and new zoning codes are on on the table which will affect urban agriculture and homesteading. This is the case in many American cities. Happening nearby to Indianapolis, in Brownsburg, IN, right now, new codes are threatening removal of four chickens from a home. The chickens have become comfort animals to an autistic boy and removing them will be devastating to him. There is a petition live online right now where you can show support for the boy and his birds. Immediate action is required since the city intends to remove the birds soon.
