    Hi Claire -

I'm also from Bristol (Long Ashton), and I have kept chickens for the past three and a half years. Me and someone else from another forum are starting to try and get together a Bristol poultry group together - would you be interested? We're sort of discussing it here, starting about halfway down the page, and I would love you to contribute to this - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=423623&page=12

    Thankfully
we're not flooded here, and won't be as we're on the side of a valley, but I just hope that the Avon doesn't burst it's banks here too. (for those who have no idea what we're on about, there have been massive floods in the county just north of us - about an hour's drive from here there are entire houses underwater & they have lost water and electricity too - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/gloucestershire/6912271.stm )
