Hi - I'm a newbie chicken owner. 
We tried raising chicks about 2 years ago, but our dog got them after their pen got destroyed by a tornado. So now we are trying again. This time we have 3 Tetra Tints, 2 Gold Laced Wyandottes, 2 Barred Rocks, 2 New Hampshire Reds & 1 unknown one. I think its a bantam chick since it's so much smaller than the other chicks. Hopefully these chicks will grow into nice chickens and not puppy chow! The kids are still working on names for them, so I just call them chickies for now.
