Hi! My name is David. I am very new to chook keeping so I'll probably bombard you with questions. :)

Hello and welcome to BYC [IMG] You are welcome to bombard us with questions. We were all new chicken owners once. Our turn first: What breed(s) have you got and how old are they?

    Thanks for the welcome :)
I have 2 girls. One Cochin bantam (friendliest lil chook ever) and the other a standard Cochin cross. They just got introduced to each other today... I hope they get along ok. The bantam is Penny and the other Amy.

I forgot ages... I have no idea how old the bantam is (should I ask her?) The other (just got her today) umm... Been laying for a couple of months. How old would that make her?
They are the cutest chooks ever

Hi and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan :D

Most pullets start laying when they are around 20 weeks
