Hey everybody,

I'm so glad I made the choice to have chickens! I'm in the process of just setting everything up like getting my coop deciding which chickens I want.

I've done plenty of research so far and luckily I have a friend along with my parents who have some "chicken experience"!

But, if you any of you guys have any advice, info, your own beginner experiences, I'm open to any positive info!!!

What I am undecided about is if I should start out with baby chicks or pullets. Baby chicks, because I can get them used to us. Do you any of you think the same can be achieved with pullets?

! Pleased you joined us! I think a good bond can be achieved with pullets but it may take some time. And, started pullets are a little harder to find. You can try your local Craigslist or visit your state's thread in the link below.

In terms of advice I would say do some reading in the Learning Center - tons of great information!! Best wishes!
