    Hi Everyone!

Our growing family are raising chickens for the first time.

We bought 5 x 1 day olds end of Dec 2016. My "girls" are now almost 11 weeks. 1 of my "girls" started crowing the other week! [IMG]

We lost one Barnevelder at 4 weeks to a goshawk [IMG].

We now have 3 Gold Laced Wyandottes & 1 Barnevelder.

We are also chook sitting my MIL's Isa Brown while they get rid of rats [IMG]

    Hi Mel,

It's great that you're getting the kids involved but what's your question exactly? By the way if you don't want to lose any more put a protective cover over the coop like a fruit tree net.

Thanks and hope you don't lose anymore!

    William
