Newbie from Las Vegas -

Hello everyone,

I am from Las Vegas, Nevada and just got my first chickens last week. We also are trying to hatch some Trader Joes eggs at home as well.


I am so excited to be here I am a truly citified chick ! Never raised anything more than dogs and cats, my husband is from a small town however and directed me to this website once I told him that I wanted to try to raise some chickens since he did it as a kid.

Looking forward to this venture !

Welcome, Welcome, Welcome. I too was a city girl, just recently moved to the country (Dec. 09) I love it, love it. My first year raising chickens too. I've fallen in love with a bunch of birds and an ornery rooster named McCoy.
