Hi everyone!! I thought I would take the time to introduce myself. I have used BYC for so much information these last few months I thought I should stop lurking, join up and really dive in!!

My name is Rhetts and I live in Northern Minnesota. I am a homemaker raising 4 children. We just moved from our small town out to the country 6 months ago. I currently have too many chickens, 5 ducks, 6 geese, 4 turkeys and 2 kitties. I am loving having all of them.

I look forward to meeting and getting to know folks around here!

Hi there and [IMG]! I'm a homemaker as well raising only 1 child, but also mom to 42 Peacocks, 7 chickens, 3 guineas, and 1 turkey as well as dogs, cats, bunnies and fish! Welcome aboard Rhetts... sounds like you are in dire need of a Peacock or 2! [IMG]

    Thanks everyone!

DylansMom- I was told by many neighbors that the people who used to live here used to have many exotic birds including peafowl. Here I am considered the 'bird lady' in the family so why not add a few to the mix! ;-)

That's what we like to hear! [IMG] It's not just chicken enablers on BYC, whenever you are ready just drop in on us in the Peafowl section and we will hook you up. I love the Peas, lots of personality, but then all the birds have that, except the guineas. I still haven't figured out why I got them, they do chase hawks so I guess that's a plus. Some of my babies.
