Hello Just wanted to introduce myself I am Judi and me and my hubby decided to raise chickens he works construction so our coop is made of construction scraps :) we bought 12 chicken expecting some to die so far they are all healthy and we think we have one rooster the little ones are only 4 weeks old right now but I am pretty she is a he. will have to download some photos onto this pc. :)

Congrats! I'm new, too. I'm in northern Ohio, and my husband is in construction as well. We got 12 chicks expecting to lose some, too, but all are thriving so far, thank goodness. Ours are 3 weeks old and we are feverishly finishing up the coop so we can get them into a larger space soon. Good luck and keep us posted!
