Good morning Peeps! =)
I have a new flock of 9 babies (ok: they're probably teens at this point, as their feathers have been in, they're outside in the coop that hubby built, and they're starting to come when I call them -- in anticipation of leafy greens, fresh corn & dried worms)
I'm located in a fairly large city area with a 7,000 sq. ft. lot -- but when I emailed the city to ask permission to have a chicken coop they failed to respond (no news is GOOD news, right?) =)
Several neighbors on my VERY AMAZING street know about the birds (little girl next door LOVES to come over and visit them!) so I'm probably OK with any issues {{hoping}} and I figure that they'll have quite a lengthy argument ahead if they insist I drop my newly-found and VERY-loved new hobby!
I have perused several of the various posts and I have quickly come to realize this is an AMAZING forum with a TON of invaluable information!!!
thank you,
Rose
...and
Souffle' the R.I red,
Omelet the buff orpington,
Nugget the brown leghorn,
CJ the giant cochin,
April the large easter egger,
Bunny the sm. easter egger,
Madonna the australorpe,
Junior the cuckoo maran,
Elouise the silver wyandotte
