Newbie from Southern Illinois

Hello, I stalked arond here for the last two months. Decided I should join and say hi.

We have a flock of about 35 laying hens from our local Rural King and off of Craig's List, plus 45 straight run chicks in the barn. We get abot 28 eggs a day! We help out the local shelter and friends and familly. We have 8 dairy goats and a Jersey cow as well. And I run a small meat rabbit shop as well! We have 8 comerical New Zeland does and a NICE buck! Plus what the kids named and keep!

I like the info and hope to help out when I can.

Welcome! I am new to BYC also....... I like the idea of donating eggs to a local shelter....... We are getting tooooo many eggs....... We can't eat them all.
