Hi all
My name is Kim. I am the mother to three children, two cats, and one dog......and now 3 chickens! Since moving to UT four years ago, I have gotten more into the self-sufficient lifestyle. I have been gardening and storing food, but now I am ready to try my hand at raising chickens. I am a science teacher and have incubated chickens many times for my students, but never raised them longer than a week. We just got our first three chicks yesterday....1 RIR, 1 Buff Orp, 1 Blk Australorp.....and I think I might go back for another today! I have done lots of internet research, but thought it would be nice to join a community for more support.
