Have kinda always wanted chickens and saw some chicks in a local farming store last Thursday. Since then I've purchased 11 of them, 4 different varieties.
3 buff orpingtons - look like maybe a couple days old
2 silver laced wyandottes - maybe a week or so old, have wing feathers
2 red sexlinks - week or so old
2 black sexlinks - week or so old
2 white leghorns - maybe two weeks old, have tails and lots more feathers than the others.
I've been researching all kinds of chicken stuff ever since and found this site. So excited to learn more about them!
I also have 2 dogs, an anatolian shepherd mix and a chihuahua (oddfellows I know, but they love each other and we're all happy together)
Looking forward to reading learning as much as I can about caring for the new chicks.

Best wishes and good luck!
