My name if Foxfire and I live in Texas. We don't have chickens yet and we know nothing about them. I'm here to learn all I can, before we make a decision.

Go to a feed store that sells books and get Raising Chickens for Dummies. Great book for beginners.
I was able to learn from my Grandfather. Been around Chickens a looong time LOL.

Welcome to BYC I just got my first chickens about 2 weeks ago and knew nothing about them when I got them ( a Mislead Trip to the feed store for my dog) I was in the feed store and I had thought of maybe getting chickens one day then they were there and so was I the cute little buggers went home greatest thing I ever did ask the feed store lady a bunch of questions about food and stuff then found this web sight when i got home Chickens in tow there is alot of info on here Im waiting on my copy of Chickens for dummies but feel I have gotten alot if not all the info I need from here
