Hi and welcome to BYC - glad that you have joined us. I understand that sexing silkies is not as easy as with other breeds. If you post one "what breed or gender is this" forum you may get some advice. There's also a silkie thread that you may wish to post your question on.
Glad you could join the flock! Lovely silkies you have there Yes silkies are notoriously hard to sex and sometimes can be six months before you can tell I'm afraid. The what breed gender section is a great place to pop by ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/15/what-breed-or-gender-is-this
Wishing you the very best of luck and enjoy BYC
Are these hatchery silkies? In any case it is much too early to try and sex them. Beyond that it is much harder when they are all in a group grazing. When I first saw the photo it looked like sheep with all the white bodies.
A lot of attention needs to be given to their combs - which can't be seen at all in the photos.
Welcome to BYC Sexing Silkies is a science in itself. Here are some threads with pics and tips:
Welcome to BYC! I can't help with sexing silkies, but I just wanted to say hello and say that the links everyone gave will be super helpful. There are so many knowledgeable people on here who are always ready to lend a helping hand, so if you ever have any questions, always feel free to ask! Thanks for joining us!
