Hi!! I'm wondering how far away from each other breeding pairs or trios need to be away from other breeds to make sure eggs are pure to the breed??

As long as the hen Hasn't been bred with another rooster for one month you should be fine.

Hi! I am also on the island! In Langford - first time backyard chicken mom with 4 little 3 week old (hopefully) pullet chicks. Mixed flock. Good luck with your breeding, very exciting.
