I hope I posted in the right forum..........What does it sound like when a roo is trying to crow. My roo is making a sound like a high pitch "screeching" sound. He sounds like a teradactyl or something. Is he trying to crow already? He is about 7 weeks old.

    Please help.....

    Thanks

Yes, it sounds like he is starting down the road to crowing.
    They sound soooo funny!

yep---they don't just crow when the sun comes up--any light or a car passing will sometimes make them crow. [IMG]

Mine will if something disturbs him, like hubby listening to crowing on youtube. Young rooster was in house for winter, now outside [IMG].

Midnight, three a.m., whenever the mood strikes.
