Hello y’all. I am a newbie and our one chicken seems to always have a dirty butt. We have cleaned it, her poop is runny but doesn’t seem to smell. I took pics because I don’t know what to use, try or think.

I didn’t know if I give them too many treats (pumpkin, seeds, quinoa, hemp hearts, tomatoes, watermelon and etc). All organic.

egg production looks great.

energy seems fine.

I add rooster booster to water with vitamins, electrolytes and lacto bacillus. I just started adding acv, based on what I was reading on here and will get them plain yogurt.

Any other ideas? Products you recommend? I just don’t know if this is vent gleet or worms or stress? I do live in AZ but it is colder now. We lost one to her egg being blocked while on vacation months ago and my heart still hearts so I want to make sure I don’t make a mistake again.

Thank you for your time and help.

I find that my chickens have runnier poo when I give them watermelon. Try cutting out the treats for a while, just giving them a quality formulated feed. It might clear up on its own. Welcome to BYC!
