Hi, I've been enjoying backyard hens for 4-5 years now, in Central Florida. Currently I have 5 girls, a Turken, a black Australorp, a Wyandotte, and 2 Easter Eggers. They all have names and are really part of our family. Originally, we got them to supplement our groceries, but as they have aged, they're egg production has slimmed. But we love them all the same!
I'm glad to be a part of the neighborhood!

Hi

Glad you could join the flock! That's a lively mixed flock you have there. I'm afraid they do slow down with the egg production as they age. I'm the same though and love them just as much even though eggs may be on the low side.
