Ok, we've been by the Chicken bug ! I've already got a lot of information on this site, so we thought we would join and take part of all the fun ! We are 1st time Chicken owners (only 4) but seems like a lot of fun. Were building the coop now, getting the chicks next week ! Thanks, Bill

Hi Bill and welcome to BYC. Better get on with that coop Bill, a week goes in the blink of an eye! Good luck with your impending chicken adventure and i hope you enjoy your chickens and being a member of BYC as much as the rest of us.

The Learning Centre is a great resource, even for experienced chicken keepers - loads of info on anything chicken. https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center

Joining your state thread will put you in touch with other BYC members in your area, which can be helpful (just type the name of your state in the search box).

    All the best
