Hello everyone,
Excited to be a part of this community! I am a NC native, now living in south Louisiana since 2015...sure miss NC! It is me, my husband, my 4 y/o daughter, 2 y/o silver lab, and an almost 2 y/o lynx Pt Ragdoll.
I finally talked my husband into letting me have chickens! Starting with Silkies and will be adding Australorp, Orpington and Easter Eggers to the flock.
Looking forward to all the knowledge on the forum and hopefully can contribute in the days to come.

I have had ducks in the past and they are a hot mess! I didn’t have a pond of any kind just baby pools...now I back up to a canal that drains into a pond (not my property though) I had buff Indian runner, crested blue Swedish, and Peking all I hatched myself. If I could raise them to live in the canal and ponds sure I’d do that again
