Hello, I live in Drummonds Tn. I am new to the area, a mother to four children and a military wife. My husband and I have decided that we really wanted to raise some chickens. I grew up on a small ranch in Texas and am familiar with the lifestyle. (not that I did any of the work) bless my Mother LOL. We bought our first 3 one week ago and everything is going well so far I still after reading so much on the internet have a lot to learn. My husband has started building my coop which will be a cute little cottage for my girls. I still would love 1 to two more chicks and am looking for Cochins, I love their nurturing personalities and think they would do well in our Family. I have now 2 BO's and 1 Easter Egger pullets. Its nice to be here and hope to get advice and help in the future. [IMG]
