I have my 1st chickens ever, 1o beautiful babies, my barred rocks are great, but I am worried about my white cornish, I didnt do enough research before I bought them, they are beautiful, but 3 times the size of my barred rocks, should I limit there food, I hate to remove them from the others, everyone is so happy together

! I think your Cornish are fine - they are designed to be eating and growing machines and it sounds like yours are living up to that. Cornish get big very quickly - and can be processed in as little as 7-8 weeks - as a full sized fryer! Others breeds, including your rocks, are slow growers. They will never achieve Cornish size. You can limit their feed - some give Cornish two feedings a day rather than unlimited feed all day. If you limit it too much they will simply eat it all and leave none for the rocks. Sounds like you are doing it all right to me. Best of luck to you!

Hi and :welcome

Yep, it's pretty normal for your Cornish to be growing fast, all breeds are different.

I hope you find any info you need here, and enjoy the site. :D
