Chicken sitter for a friend, I am now hooked. Building my coop from repurposed wood. Planning to have 4 hens. I had 10 hens and a rooster at age 10. I have to relearn the craft of raising chickens.

Hello and welcome! I built my coop with pallets and scraps and although it is not pretty it is solid and it makes me happy that I used wood and paint that would have been thrown away.

Same here. Everything about my coop is reclaimed and I am quite proud of myself! Glad to hear I'm not the only one.
