Newborn poop

We are currently hatching our first set of backyard eggs. One of the chicks is about 2 hours old and has a string with poop hanging onto it. Is that normal or something to be concerned about. It's acting normal otherwise. Thank you,

it is probably the Umbilical cord with what was left of the insides of the egg. it should dry up and fall off.

Definitely do not pull it off. The insides can rupture. That's it's umbilical cord like all babies have...
