newborn won't drink water

My chick hatched out yesterday, and i can't get him to drink any water. He is eating fine. what should i do? Also, there is another egg that my hen has been sitting on but it hasn't hatch. How can I tell if it has a baby in it?

I was told if the babies don't drink, dip their beak in the water. If its eating, I wouldn't worry too much at this point. Just dip its beak in so it knows where/what it is and go from there. If momma hen is raising her, she will make sure baby is ok
