Newcomer, no chickens YET!

Greetings!

I live in Massachusetts, and looking to move into my first house with my Fiancee in the next couple months. Her and I always discussed having a little hobby farm, at the very least a few chickens and a garden. Earlier today she sent me a link to BYC. I poked around for a bit, and decided to sign up. I want to learn the ropes, and see if this is something that we can commit too. Having any animal is a long term commitment and we take it seriously. I hope to learn a lot, and pick your brains. You have a great site and I hope to be able to contribute! Thanks!
