Hi everyone
I wondered if anyone had any advice.
Our cockerel Goliath attacked me after leaving his pen today. He attacked me from behind flying at me completely unprovocked. He is 9months old. We had just cleaned his pen fresh bedding, chippings I had even made chicken cakes and layers and meal worm porridge when it happened. He has never done this before he flapped at my two year old a month back but never like this, we have had him since a chick. He is in a pen with his brother and 10 hens (which have started laying not sure if this could be the reason!!)
Any advice greatly receieved as he is HUUUGGGGEEEE and don't really want this becoming a regular thing.
Thanks everyone any help greatly received

Type 'rooster behavior modification' in the search bar. There are a number of methods that sometimes work, but such a rooster can never be trusted completely. Given that there is a small child involved, I would get rid of/eat this rooster and hope that his brother remains better behaved. Good luck, this is a situation faced by many.
