I don't have much hope the chick will survive, but any insight would be helpful. Chick hatched around 9:30 pm eastern time last night. The belly bled a few drops, which is probably a lot for such a tiny chick. All it has done since is lay on its side with its feet out kicking it in a circle. Sometimes it will lay still. Legs feel stiff if it put it in a sitting position, as if it wants to keep them straight. I can bend them, but it won't keep them bent. Barely opens its eyes. Hardly peeps. I've give it a tiny amount of selenium and vitamin e and electrolytes last night and this morning. It doesn't seem like wry neck. This is my first time hatching quail and I only incubated two eggs. The other chick seems healthy, but quiet.
