Newly hatched duckling kicking

Hi all

I had a duckling hatch this morning, about 4 hours ago. It still had some membrane attached and maybe yolk- I'll post a pic- and it's drying up ok and peeping but it's also kicking A LOT. I am wondering if it's trying to detach the umbilical? I'm just going to leave it be but just wondering if the kicking is normal? In the pic where you can see it's face it's mid kick.

Put in on a dry paper towel and in a little bowl under the heatlamp. She needs to rest most likely.
