So last week I had 12 goslings hatch from a nest 3 eggs didn't hatch so I put them under a dif mom. Yesterday found a late bloomer. Since I have 4 momma geese there is a good chance it was just a late egg snuck into the wrong nest. So pulled the Lil guy/gal and put it the brooder with some young chicks I had. Well it hasn't ate, refuses to drink even when I dip it's beak in water. And it also seems crooked? It's head and shoulder leans to one side. Yesterday I chalked it up to being so freshly hatched it was still getting oriented. But today it seems weaker and lethargic. I tried mixing some chick mash with warm water and vitamins and dipping it's beak in the mixture. It seemed more offended then anything. I think I got a small amount in him/her but I suspect he won't make it.
