Waiting for the snow to clear and the weather to warm up. I'm needing to move 15 Golden Wyandottes outside ASAP as they are outgrowing their confinement in the house.
Trying to figure the sexing thing. The group is divided pretty evenly at this point but I do not know which are pullets and which are cockrels.
One half are smaller with stubby tails and a lot of orange feather covering. Larger comb starter on the base of the beak and sort of tufts of short feathers on the shoulders like fake fairy wings.
The other half are larger, evenly dark textured all over, have longer 2" tail tufts.
I'll be keeping track to see what becomes what but was wondering if any of you have insight since the division is quite apparent at 4 weeks.
Raising mini Banties,, Guineas, and now Golden Lace Wyandottes.
Also angora rabbits.
