I would say I'm feelin' lucky but, that's chiché and it's more about approximation of the current pattern than "luck" at this point.

Sooooo... I'm up at 1 am designing and 3D printing a joiner/combiner to tie two 72" metal closet rods together since there aren't any rods long enough to span the 12' closets in our rental unit.

I just use regular pipe. It is much stronger than closet rods and can be had in any length up to 20' plus a variety of diameters. It also takes standard threaded couplings if a longer span is desired.

That is why we hauled them on the outside of the vehicle. Most lumberyard/hardware stores will deliver.
