Anyone tried these before to keep critters out of your coops at night?

    The great white north.
Eventually the predators get used to them. Get an electric fence.

I have one of them and have seen traces of coon poop in the area of my coops. Granted my chicken area is pretty well locked down now, or so I believe. I don't know if they work or not, but I would rather invest a few bucks in them to be safe. I haven't lost a chicken since I've had it.
