NN (Splash Jersey Giant cockerel X Isa Brown hen) - gender?

    OOPS - someone just let me know I forgot to put the age (sheesh!). These two in the pic are 6 weeks.

    This little one has me perplexed. It is fathered by the same boy - a Splash Jersey Giant cock. It is shown here with a cross of the same age (out of an Isa Brown hen). the Isa Brown cockerel (for sure) has a much redder comb with redder wattles, than the NN cross. However, the NN has pretty thick legs and is as big (or bigger) than the Isa cross. So I'm perplexed. It's comb should be more red by now if it's a cockerel...but I also know next to nothing about NN.

    So nutshell: same father, one with an Isa Brown mom (for sure cockerel), the other with a NN mom, which is the one I'm curious about.

    What say you? This is the only pic I have, but if I can get more tonight, I'll add them tomorrow:
