4 eggs pipped but I don't hear any noise!!! Is this bad?? Are the chicks dead???

Joe, not all of them cheep in the egg, don't worry. Pips are a very positive sign. How long have they been pipped?

one pipped last night at 12:00 and the others this mornin. Actually I just heard one chirp!!!!

I guess I am just tooo nervous!!!!! Hope they make it out the egg fine!!

First hatches are always nerve-wracking

No worries ! I ended up with 5 out of 17 eggs my first go round...only 3 of them made cheeping noises before they finally broke out ! Took mine about 12 hours to zip and hatch completely after pipping. Good luck ! Have fun ! TRY NOT TO BE SO NERVOUS! LMBO, I was running around the house a ball of nerves my first hatch....Constantly watching "bater TV" LOL Hubby was about ready to tie me down to a chair !
