I know there have been threads in the past about this, but I just want to clarify, does the no crow rooster collar really work? We live in the suburbs, nearest house is about 100-125' from the run. Obviously roosters are not allowed, but we have an australop rooster we can't bear to send to the freezer. Experiences and opinions about the collar will be appreciated.

It works if you have it on tight enough. With my experience, it works best on standard fowl, the bantams sometimes can't eat with it on. My one Banty is doing okay with it, and yes it does work.

Thanks for this experience! Yeah this would be going on an Australorp and a Welsummer, both larger standard breeds so no problems there.
