Chirping
I got this girl in mid June from Meyer Hatchery. She was in the $2 sale bin where they sell the extra chick not being shipped that week. She looked like a Delaware chick to my very unteained eye. She isn't a Delaware.

I think she looks like a buff brahma, too, but her legs are clean and she hasa single comb. She is big! 5 months old and bigger than my 1.5 yr old buff orpington and australorp. I have scoured the Meyer Hatchery catalog and can't figure it out. Wouldn't think I would get a "mutt" there. It is a mystery. I may take her photo to the hatchery.I have a pullet from Meyer that was supposed to be a buff Brahma. Her coloration is the same but her comb is different.
I wonder if someone dropped her in the "layer pen" rather than the "meat bird pen". If so, she got lucky....I'm not eating her. She is a heavy girl!Looks like a red ranger
