My Aussie chooks (5 weeks-ish) are finally over their fear of red foods, owing entirely to the wonderful suggestion to give them cored apple to play with!
They are mad about the apples, and enjoying running around with the red skins playing "keep away", when the flesh is gone. Hilarious!
Almost as funny as Noodlympics!
They have also really enjoyed the thinnings from the garden- radish sprouts among the top faves.
Thanks to everyone who suggested treats these formerly finicky young ladies might enjoy!
