My husband and I agreed to a small flock of 6. We ended up with 7 mainly due to predators and rebuilding the flock.

Oh man, I was at TSC this morning, almost brought home some chicks! Bit I couldn't sex them, and they were straight run...

I keep seeing this thing at Tractor Supply and thinking my chickens would keel over dead from fear. This $200 lawn ornament is nearly 6 feet tall.

I've seen them at the TSC in my town, I think it would scare the predators away!!!! I wish they made them with a duck, I would definitely get one!!!
