Hi everyone! Welp.. I posted some older pics of the "girls" & no one had any guesses on breeds or genders. So here we go again with newer pictures! I have 8 babies - 6 from TSC & 2 bought privately. My TSC "girls" I think may be Leghorns & Red Sex Links, but this is just a guess. My other 2 are Bantams, but not sure what kind.

So anyway... Let me have it! Take some guesses on the breeds and/or gender of my babes!

    #1 - Amy
    [IMG]

    #2 - Sarah Jane
    [IMG]

#3 - Ace (Aces legs are more of a greenish blue than the other
    "yellow" chicks).

    #4 - Rose (I am including 2 pics - A side shot & front comb shot
because Rose might actually be a Roo)

    #5- River
    [IMG]

#6 - Charley (also including side shot & comb shot because I
suspect Charley might be a Charlie).

#7 - Unnamed Bantam (my chipmunk chick)

#8 - Unnamed Bantam (including two shots because I suspect
he is also a Roo). All black with blackish/grey legs & a little bit
of copper coloring in his wing feather.

My guess is the first ones are white leghorns and the next group are all red sex-links and they are pullets. That's what mine are suppose to be, so that's what I'm going off of! [IMG] Sorry I don't have any help on the banty's.

The ninth picture down looks like an Americana-light green egg layer. They are the cutest chicks if you ask me )

So consensus is that all my TSC pullets are truly pullets? And they are indeed Leghorn & Red Sex Link? That's great. Good news there!

Any guesses on the breed of the little black one? Maybe just a mutt?

Maybe Black Australope or Black Sexlink?

The black one looks like a Black Sex Link because of the black legs here is a picture of mine

    Thanks everyone!

Are Black Sex Links bantams? I was told my black one is a bantam & he is much, much, smaller in size than my RSL & Leghorns. He is about the same size as our little chipmunk chick.

I don't see why not a Rhode Island Red roo and a Barred Plymouth Rock hen make a Black Sex Link they both come in Bantams. I'm just guessing but looks possible.
