My 11 mo girl and some of the others has had diarrhea I started them on corid three days ago. She is also on her first molt. I checked for bugs. They seem free. Today the molting one betty stayed on the roost half the day she isnt hanging out with the flock or interested in eating. I wouldn't be too concerned if it wasn't for the diarrhea she was laying down in the run but not dusting just getting up and laying down strangely. I brought her in to check for egg bound and crop issues but nothing. She has pretty bad runs though i have her in the shower. Am i treating her right ? One and one half teaspoons corid in a gallon of water for five days. I feel she isnt improving and I have seen enough posts it doesn't take long to loose a sick bird. Ideas on treatment?

Heres betty and her poo...

Update she is eating this morning but she still has watery bowels. I don't think this is cocci I haven't seen blood in any stools of hers or the others, but this is day four with no improvement. I need help on the next plan for my babies.

I’m treating my chickens with corid right now too but I’m only using 3/4 tsp per gallon for 5-7 days then 1/3 tsp per gallon for 5-7 days. Clean water every day
i wish I knew how to paste things but there is a place that tells you how to use it on this site

I found a post that azygous gave instructions. I'm following that dosage for corrid. Betty is doing well, but they got into some stagnant water from a plastic bag that blew in the field so I am back to corrid. The water in it was putrid. It is always something!

The feather loss looks more like molting and re-growing of new feathers. Have you checked her for lice or mites? Her poop could be runny for many reasons, these reasons include, probiotics, electrolytes, vitamins, diet change, parasites or liver disease. Has she been de-wormed?
