Is that a chicken swing? I was just talking to someone else on here about those! Do they really use it?

Yes! I have ten hens and three of them use it. It's hysterical to watch because obviously they don't swing fast... They hop up on a tub behind it to get on, then just fly down when theyre finished. Sometimes I see them just sitting, enjoying the view. The curious one in the background doorway was the first to try it. She really knows how to live on the edge.

How high off the ground do you hang your swing? Very neat. :)

If I'd guess (and I've always struggled eyeballing measurements) id say it looks 1 foot and a 1/2 maybe 2 feet.

It's probably two feet. But truthfully, the log I used was a just piece of already cut firewood that looked small enough for me to drill through. And THAT was quite an event -- I couldn't figure out why it was SO HARD to drill that hole! It had been a long time since I used the drill, but that was some hard wood. I even had to lean and put all my weight on it. It smoked a little, but I was thrilled when I forced the drill bit through.

Then my son came out and noticed I had the drill in reverse.
