No tracking number from MPC. How concerned should I be?

    Today was my hatch day for the chicks I ordered from MyPetChicken.com. Well, at lunch I get a call that 3 out of the 5 breeds I had selected under-hatched. Bummer - but I understand. So the lovely customer service rep I spoke with was so helpful and we got my replacement selections squared away. She told me they would still ship out today and if I hadn't received an email with a tracking number by 4:30 to call back. Well 4:30/5:00 came and no email. I called back and and the woman I spoke with this time told me that the last truck had just left, and they have no tracking number assigned to my order number but she assumed my chicks are on that truck. How concerned should I be? Should I call back tomorrow?

    As I understand it, My Pet Chicken uses Meyer Hatchery to hatch and ship their chicks. I placed my own chick order that hatched today with Meyer hatchery. I also received a call telling me my order could not be fulfilled as ordered.Luckily for me it was only one breed, which was substituted with another breed I really like. I got a email at 1:00 o'clock telling me all my chick's are shipped. I did however receive a tracking number, but the strange part is it says only electronic notification of shipping was relieved. I thought maybe I checked too soon. SIX HOURS later it STILL SAYS pre- shipment notification? ?it's saying no package was even shipped yet?? Very strange. The reason I brought this up is we are basically using the SAME HATCHERY. We BOTH got notified our hatch won't be complete. We BOTH got substituted chicks. We BOTH were told our chicks HAD SHIPPED. You don't have a tracking number and my "tracking number" says it's ONLY A PRETTY SHIPPING NOTIFICATION AND NO ACTUAL PACKAGE WAS GIVEN. Kind of strange don't you think??it's been almost Seven hours for me and it STILL says pretty ship notification. Very strange. Makes me wonder if something happened at the hatchery today?? And did they REALLY mail our packages?? We have a lot of similarities don't you think?? What's up I wonder

    MPC customer service is one of the best there is. Your order was modified at the last minute, so by morning, they should have a tracking number for you. Call them first thing. Remember to call 10am eastern time!

    My tracking finally updated. I wouldn't worry about yours I'm sure when you call tomorrow they will have it available for you. Meyer and My Pet Chicken BOTH have excellent customer service! No need to worry.

    I just got the call that the chicks are at my post office. Hopefully your's comes soon as well! :D

    That's so GREAT! I'm really SCARED. Last tracking for my chick's was OVER 15 HOURS AGO and NOTHING SINCE :( I feel like CRYING! It's already 630am and it's too late to get that call from the post office today :( Poor little babies.say a prayer for my chick's please. I haven't a clue where they are. I pray they aren't held over at some mail hub...ugh..
