Non-crested POLISH?

Anyone ever see a Polish chick (pure or not) hatch without a crest only to have it grow in later?

No, I haven't seen that, but I bet they would look veery interesting! The crest might still be there, it would just be a very small crest.
Have you recently had a chick hatch like this? It may not be a pure breed, since a crest is the defining trait of a Polish chicken...

I was warned that the chicks were possibly not full Polish. Very excited and curious to see what happens.

I love how different mixed chickens can look- and Polish Crosses are definatly some of the cutest. You'll have to learn how to post pictures, and show me!

Definitely need to get some new pics. The two without crests are starting to get little mohawks! EEK!
