Non-laying Pullet

I have 2 pullets, 6 months old. One has been laying for about 3 weeks. The other has not layed yet. Should I be worried?

No, I would not be worried. Chickens start laying at different times. It isvery normal to have ones that haven't laid yet at that age. But it is not fun to wait, and wait, and wait.

What breeds do you have?

The non-layer is an Astralorp and the layer is a Wyandotte. The Astrolorp has been a bit odd from the beginning. She is very sweet but seems to have a bit of an equilibrium problem. She has trouble getting up on the upper perch and usually just makes it to the level of the nests and sleeps on a perch there. I have not found any eggs in her nest or in her usual hangouts. I'll keep encouraging her!
